      A branch of the outpatient clinic of City Clinical Hospital No. 39, located at 32a Dvizhentsev Street in the Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, has temporarily ceased operations. The cause was the building's emergency condition, the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region told NIA "Nizhny Novgorod."

      As the ministry specified, the building belongs to JSC Russian Railways (RZD) and is leased. Due to the safety threat to patients and staff, since August 12, 2025 medical care for children from the Sortirovochny settlement has been provided at the pediatric department at 144 Moskovskoye Highway.

      The regional Ministry of Health assured that the availability of medical services, including pediatric appointments, consultations with specialists, diagnostic procedures and rehabilitative treatment, complies with established standards.

      The administration of City Clinical Hospital No. 39 has sent the building owner an official notice about the need for major repairs. At present, inspections of the engineering systems, including electrical wiring, at the Dvizhentsev Street building are being completed.

      To minimize risks, the possibility of repairing the most problematic section of the building is being considered. This measure is aimed at eliminating the identified violations and creating conditions for the safe operation of the medical facility.

      If the repairs are successfully completed and the building is declared safe, the branch will resume operations. At the same time, discussions are underway regarding the future use of the premises.

      According to the Nizhny Novgorod regional Ministry of Health, the hospital administration is taking all possible steps to stabilize the situation and ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical care to the population.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod Polyclinic No. 4 received the highest rating under the federal standard.
