The "Sunset Capitals" program in Nizhny Novgorod for the weekend has been published.

      Listings: The "Capital of Sunsets" festival (6+) continues to delight Nizhny Novgorod residents in the last days of summer.

      From August 22 to 24 various concerts will take place at different venues. The current event schedule is published on the festival's Telegram channel.

      Only two weekends remain until the end of the season, and each promises to be unique in its own way. Already this coming weekend Nizhny Novgorod residents can look forward to performances by musicians from a variety of genres against the backdrop of picturesque cityscapes.

      On Friday, August 22, at 19:00 in the amphitheater opposite the Mayak Academy, Sergey Artemyev, a performer with the Academic Symphony Orchestra, will take the stage. He will present a romantic saxophone program as part of the "Solo at Sunset" project.

      On Saturday, August 23, at 19:00 on Fedorovsky Embankment a cozy acoustic evening will begin with the cover band "Not Evening Yet," and at 20:00 a duo of DJ Maksim Kupper and percussionist Vlad Zakharov will perform there, combining electronic music with live percussion.

      At the Nizhny Novgorod Fair at 19:00 the musical project Nomad Echo will welcome the audience. The artists will blend ethnic sounds with electronic improvisation, using percussion, hang, wind instruments and vocals.

      On board the boat "Geroi" at 20:00 an alto program will be performed by Vladislav Zhukov, a musician of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.

      Also on Saturday the traditional "Gastronomic Christmas" festival will take place.

      On Sunday, August 24, at 19:00 on the viewing platform by the Kremlin funicular station the poet Dmitry Terentyev will read his works about the city, its rivers and its people. The poems will be accompanied by live guitar music performed by Grigory Andrievsky.

      The evening will conclude on Fedorovsky Embankment at 20:00 with a performance by DANKO-QUARTET, whose name alludes to the works of Maxim Gorky and symbolizes the power of art to unite people.

      Earlier it was reported that the patriotic song festival "Music of the Proud" (0+) will once again be held in Nizhny Novgorod on August 31.
