      The unique project "Roaming with a Virtual Transport Card," implemented by Siticard in cooperation with partners from other regions, became available to users on August 21, 2025. The Nizhny Novgorod region entered the top ten regions where it is possible to issue a virtual transport card of another region in the mobile app and use it to pay for travel. Operators of fare payment systems from Kaluga, Kirov, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, and Omsk oblasts, the Udmurt and Chuvash Republics, and the Republic of Mari El are participating in the project. The solution is implemented in the Siticard mobile applications on the Android platform for smartphones with an NFC module. Issuing a virtual card of another region takes just a few minutes: you only need to change the location in the user profile. The cost to activate the card will correspond to the selected region. Replenishing the virtual card, as with a regular plastic one, is done through the mobile application.
