      14 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Nizhny Novgorod Oblast on the night of August 17, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

      In total, according to the department, 46 fixed-wing UAVs were intercepted. Of those, 16 were shot down over Belgorod Oblast, 9 over Voronezh Oblast, 3 over Bryansk Oblast and one each over Kursk, Oryol, Kaluga and Smolensk Oblasts.

      Earlier it was reported that two people were killed as a result of a drone attack on August 11 on an industrial facility in the Arzamas district.
