A Boulevard Worthy of Victory

      During a routine inspection, the head of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinikov, assessed the progress and quality of work on the renovation of Victory Boulevard as part of the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program. Together with Ekaterina Strizhova, Deputy Chairman of the City Duma Committee for Social Development, Budgeting, Financial, and Tax Policies, he inspected the nearly one-kilometer pedestrian zone of the boulevard, stretching from the Palace of Culture for Chemists to Theater Square. As a result of comprehensive reconstruction, a comfortable urban space has been created for relaxation and walks, featuring cobblestone paving, original lighting, convenient benches placed in the center of the pedestrian area, and rotating chairs. Additional pedestrian crossings have been organized on both sides of the boulevard for the convenience of residents. There are minor remarks regarding the completed work, but the contractor assured that they will be addressed promptly. Overall, impressions of the work are positive. A beautiful, cozy, and modern boulevard has been created where residents can comfortably walk with children and relax under the linden trees. Soon, a video surveillance system will be installed on the boulevard, landscaping work will be completed, after which the territory's improvement will be fully finalized.
