A new military school will be established in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Work has begun in the Nizhny Novgorod region to create a new higher military engineering command school. The relevant order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The document has already been published on the official government website.

      The new educational institution will be opened in the city of Kstovo. It will be based on the 210 Inter-branch Regional Training Center of the Ministry of Defense.

      It is expected that the school will significantly increase the training of qualified military engineers. Training will take into account the experience gained during the special military operation.

      It is estimated that about 2,800 people will be able to study and work at the school simultaneously.

      All necessary organizational measures are planned to be completed by the beginning of the next academic year.

      Earlier, it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod Cadet Corps of the Volga Federal District named after General of the Army V.F. Margelov announced the recruitment of cadets for the 2025/2026 academic year.
