Two residents of Nizhny Novgorod were injured in a fire on the Volga bank.

      On July 19, 2025, at 18:30, a fire occurred on the bank of the Volga in Nizhny Novgorod, resulting in injuries to two people, reported by the regional EMERCOM. The fire broke out on July 17 in the area of Kima Street and involved outbuildings. The fire covered an area of 500 square meters. Firefighters quickly localized and extinguished the blaze. There were no fatalities, but two adults sustained injuries and were taken to a medical facility, though they refused hospitalization after examination. The causes of the fire are being investigated. Preliminary data suggest that the fire may have been caused by a malfunction in electrical equipment. EMERCOM specialists are conducting an investigation and establishing all circumstances of the incident.
