Two residents of Nizhny Novgorod sought medical attention due to snake bites over the past week.

      Community Since the beginning of 2025, eight people have sought help at the Regional Toxicology Center based at City Clinical Hospital No. 33 in Nizhny Novgorod for snake bites. As reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the Regional Health Department, two of these cases occurred in the past week.

      All patients received medical assistance: consultations were conducted and necessary treatment was prescribed. There have been no recorded fatalities.

      According to the department, most of these incidents occur in forested areas and on gardening plots. The most common reports of snake bites come from Vetluga, Urensky, and Dálnékonstantinovsky districts.
