      Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the new average monthly fee for kindergartens has been established. The relevant order is posted on the official legal information portal.

      The parent contribution varies by municipality. The highest amount is recorded in Nizhny Novgorod — from 2,572 rubles per month per child.

      In Kstovsky District, despite its recent inclusion in the Nizhny Novgorod agglomeration, the fee is lower — 1,917 rubles.

      Parents in Sechenovsky District face the lowest costs — here, kindergarten will cost 493 rubles per month. In the Krasnooktyabrsky District, the amount is slightly higher — 574 rubles.

      An increase in the cost of preschool attendance has also been recorded in other large cities in the region. In Dzerzhinsk, the fee has risen to 2,128 rubles; in Sarov — to 2,350 rubles; and in Borsky District — to 1,628 rubles.

      It was previously reported that from July 1, new measures to support families with children have entered into force in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
