50% of parents of schoolchildren in Nizhny Novgorod support introducing a pass/fail system for art, physical education, music, and labor classes. This is evidenced by the survey results conducted by experts from the SuperJob service.

Earlier, deputies in the State Duma proposed to cancel grades for these subjects. According to analysts, not all residents of the regional center supported the initiative. Among opponents of the pass/fail system, 43% of Nizhny Novgorod residents were registered.

Men more often than women suggest leaving everything as is—52% versus 47%, respectively. Meanwhile, young people under 35, who recently graduated from school, would like to cancel grades for art, physical education, music, and labor. Every second citizen under 35 opposes this.

Opinions on canceling grades also vary among parents of students. 50% of mothers supported the bill, while 61% of fathers stated the need to preserve the five-point grading system.

Earlier, we wrote that 24% of residents of Nizhny Novgorod would like to erase their memories of the workday.
