14 smart stops will be installed on the tram routes of Nizhny Novgorod

      Society 14 smart stops will be installed on tram routes in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Nizhny Novgorod Transport."

      They will be located along routes No. 5, No. 6, and No. 7. Currently, work is underway at the "Myza," "Batumskaya Street," "Karavaikha microdistrict," and "Shchelokovsky farm" stops.

      It is noted that the new shelter designs are developed by the Institute for Urban Environment Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (IRGSNO). Their exterior will be similar to the already installed stop at the "Administrations of the Privolzhsky District" building but with an important addition — a special boarding platform. This solution will allow passengers to board the tram from the stop without a height difference, providing a more comfortable and safer boarding process.

      It was previously reported that in June, the most popular routes among Nizhny Novgorod residents were routes No. 7, No. 6, and No. 3.
