
Swimming is permitted: 11 bodies of water in the Nizhny Novgorod region are recognized as safe

Rospotrebnadzor specialists in the Nizhny Novgorod region conducted an inspection of local bodies of water and found that the water at eleven beaches meets safety requirements and is suitable for swimming. Based on laboratory analyses, swimming is permitted at these locations as of July 18:
- Lake in the Culture and Recreation Park of the Second Phase, located on Molodëzhny Avenue in the Autzavodsky district;
- Both beaches at Silikatnoye Lake in the Leninsky district;
- Both beaches at Sortirovchnoye Lake in the Kanavinsky district;
- Lunskoe and Peschichnoe Lakes in the Sormovsky district;
- Beach on Svetloyarskoye Lake, located on Mokrousov Street in Sormovsky district;
- Upper Lake at Shchelokovsky Farmstead in the Prioksky district;
- Third Lake at Shchelokovsky Farmstead in the Sova district;
- Upper Pond with three beaches in Vyksa;
- "U Kroy Gory" Lake in Bogorodsk;
- Svyatoe Lake in Pushkino village (Dzerzhinsk);
- Volga River in Lyskovo.
Thus, swimming in these bodies of water is permitted, as the inspection confirmed that the water complies with safety standards.
