Incidents: In Nizhny Novgorod, a joint raid was carried out by regional FSSP and Traffic Police officers. Within a few hours, they managed to recover almost 1 million rubles in debts from drivers who ignored their obligations, according to the department.
The "Road Bailiff" system assisted in identifying the non-payers. This system automatically cross-checks passing vehicle license plates with the FSSP database and shows which drivers are in debt.
As a result, four vehicle owners with overdue debts for loans, utilities, and damages were identified. The total debt amounted to over 966,000 rubles.
All drivers were previously aware of their debts. However, as they were not eager to settle them, bailiffs seized their vehicles: a "Skoda Fabia," "Nissan X-Trail," "VAZ 21150," and "Renault Sandero Stepway."
The owners now have 10 days to pay off their debts. If they fail to do so, the vehicles will be sold, and the proceeds will go towards settling the debts.
It was previously reported that an impounded SUV belonging to a drunk woman in Nizhny Novgorod was sent to the SVO zone.
