In Bogorodsk, police detained a 27-year-old woman who was conducting erotic live streams online. She admitted that she had indeed been doing this and had been doing it regularly.
Officers from the Cybercrime Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nizhny Novgorod Region established that the woman set up a mini-studio at her home. Using a camera and special equipment, she went live on a foreign streaming platform, where she displayed pornographic content. Viewers from different countries had access to the broadcasts.
According to investigators, she began doing this in mid-2021. Since then, she regularly appeared on air as a webcam model.
During a search of her apartment, police seized equipment she used for streaming, as well as various intimate accessories. All of this has been sent for examination.
A criminal case has been opened against the woman under the article for illegal production and distribution of pornographic materials. She is currently under house arrest and is required to observe proper conduct.
The investigation continues. The webcam model could face up to six years in prison.
Earlier, it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod District Court began examining a criminal case against 18 individuals who organized a webcam studio.
