      Self-embedding dental kits can be dangerous, reports the Telegram channel "Bokal Presseka" citing the chief dentist of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Dentistry, Anatoly Sidorin. Such kits are sold on marketplaces, but thermoplastic and food-grade polyamide fillings do not exclude toxicity and allergic reactions. According to the dentist, such a filling won't stop enamel decay and will inevitably lead to pulpitis and other diseases, potentially resulting in tooth extraction. "The method of making temporary fillings also raises concerns — just dilute with hot water. Dentists use a material that hardens with a special light or in the air," the message states.
