      The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Yevgeny Lyulin, shared on his social media about the establishment of a new regional award—the Honorary Badge "Honored Donor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region."

      "Just imagine: every tenth resident of our region has donated blood at least once, saving someone’s life. This turns the donor movement into the most noble activity on Earth, into a mission! At the upcoming meeting of the Social Issues Committee, together with colleagues, we will discuss an important bill—the establishment of the regional award 'Honored Donor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.' I thank my colleagues who support this initiative. Starting in 2026, the award will be presented together with the governor in a solemn ceremony," noted the speaker of the regional parliament.

      "The Honorary Badge 'Honored Donor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region' is a continuation of our joint efforts with the government to expand existing support measures for donors. It is important that our fellow residents see, know, and take pride in those who selflessly dedicate themselves to helping others. I am proud that, according to the Klimova Blood Center, the number of such people in the Nizhny Novgorod Region is increasing every year," emphasized Yevgeny Lyulin.
