Activists of "United Russia" carried out the cleaning of Autozavodskoye Lake Zemsnaryad-1.

On July 11, 2025, at 09:43 [137], Society In the Zavodsky Park, the first cleanup of Lake ZemSnarad-1 was held. The event was organized by the local branch of United Russia with the support of the political council members Sergey Ryabinin and Pavel Alexandrov. "The lake on the park grounds was created 75 years ago. During all this time, it has never been cleaned. This year, algae almost took over the body of water. We decided that immediate action was necessary to remove them. Currently, a small dredger is operating, cutting plants at the bottom. The algae are then collected on the shore and removed," explained Sergey Ryabinin, Deputy Director of the Zavodsky Department of the Parks and Squares Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod and member of the political council of the local United Russia branch. The complete cleanup of algae and trash from the lake is scheduled for July 13, 2025. "Lake cleaning is a complex task that requires a systematic approach and the involvement of various resources. We organized transportation for hauling away algae, sludge, and collected debris. I would like to note that the successful implementation of the 'Clean Country' project requires active participation from local residents themselves. Maintaining order and cleanliness at the lake's beach area must be an ongoing effort," commented Pavel Alexandrov, a member of the political council of the local United Russia branch in Zavodsky. The main cleaning operations are concentrated around the beach zone, with access to the water made as comfortable as possible for visitors. "The team did a great job. Now, the chance of getting tangled in algae is zero. I don't remember a dredger working on our lake with so many people involved in the cleanup. It makes me happy. Thanks to the local United Russia branch for this gift. Thanks to everyone," said Vitaly Yakim, a resident of Zavodsky district, Nizhny Novgorod. Environmental activists, schoolchildren, and local residents participated in the eco-initiative. "We worked hard today. We collected a lot of algae. We already loaded a full tractor cart. It's nice to see how the lake is transforming after the cleanup," shared schoolboy Zakhar Vetvitsky. "I think we did an important job. I believe park visitors will appreciate it. Now, swimming here is a real pleasure. After we finish, that's exactly what I plan to do today," said Kateryna Potapova, an activist of United Russia. Lake ZemSnarad-1 will become part of the comprehensive improvement program for Zavodsky Park. The project includes the installation of utilities and sewage systems, the equipment of the beach area, and deep water purification. Environmental initiatives and support for the improvement of public spaces are a vital part of implementing the party's people's program, United Russia. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
